Blue Breeze is an Americana music combo formed in 2022 by four members of the Bluegrass band, The Fairlington Raccoons (founded in 2017), to play a wider range of acoustic hits. The band likes to explore everything from traditional country to folk and acoustic rock. Having played together for years, Blue Breeze has amassed a large repertoire. Combining tight rhythm and harmonies, Blue Breeze covers classic songs by artists such as Doc Watson, Hank Williams Sr, Patsy Cline and The Grateful Dead that will make you want to sing along!

JOE CHIOCCA
Joe has been a 'casual pro' guitarist and singer, going on 40 years now, playing in Northern Virginia and the greater Metro D.C area. He loves playing acoustic and electric music equally, and has enjoyed playing in various Classic Rock, Blues and Country Bands, as well as Acoustic music groups that play folk, blues, and Bluegrass. Current endeavors include Blue Breeze, The Fairlington Raccoons, The Joe Chiocca Band, Combo Indigo, and The Rachel Burns Band.
FIDDLE - VOCALS
SHELLEY BURNS
Shelley started playing music out in California as a child. She is the band leader for Blue Breeze and The Fairlington Raccoons and is one of the lead singers and a fiddler for the Western Swing/Bluegrass Band, The Tumbleweeds, out of Germantown, MD, where she gets her yodel on! She has sat in with several bands in the DC area and out in California where she loves playing and singing with her bass playing sister, Lisa.
MANDOLIN - VOCALS
JARED KIMBLE
Jared is the mandolin player for Blue Breeze Band andplays mandolin and sings lead and harmony vocals. He also plays guitar but is most commonly playing mandolin. Jared has spent time playing a variety of genres which he uses to incorporate into his playing style. He can be found picking at various local bluegrass jams and also plays mandolin for the AlgoRhythms, the Faithful Four, and the Lemon Pickers.
BASS
CRAIG FENELEY
Craig started playing bass while attending high school in Connecticut. He loves most styles of music and has played in bands ranging from jazz, big band to acoustic duets.
